Noori Records is a small label with the intent to do some small good in the way to fix the actual situation.
I believe that music wants to be free, people want it for free, but money also must be made. Noori Records attempts to do all of that. And you know what? It's actually easy.

Quick update on Noori Records affairs
I know that more than one year passed since my last blog post here. Which means that I've been getting several complaints about this website, people asking if the label was ruined (which is not, things are going great, this first year was way better than I expected!) or - those involved with the label and that know it is active - complaining on not having an updated website for the label.

Listen, my name is Guilherme and I'm a Brazillian Cinema student. I've been looking for music on public domain to use as sound tracks for future projetcs for a long time. Today I found out a collection of jazz songs on public domain on this website, a collection wich you've seem to have gathered. I mean, I loved some of the songs, but because of the legal issues, I really need to be 100% sure that they're trully free to use as one pleases.
The song "I Wonder", by Cecil Gant, I had found on another website, called PublicDomain4U, and it stated that it was on public domain. But it was a very simple site, with no form of contact to the creator or anyone at all. Later on I found out on some forums across the web about people who, like me also wanted to use this song and found out it wasn't free at all.
So, if you could send me some info about all of this, I would appreciate it very much.
